Torque Law Celebrates 10 Years of Excellence
Ten years ago, Torque Law was founded with a simple ambition: to do things differently.
In 2016, friends Tiggy Clifford and Emma Whiting, who first met as students at the University of Leeds in 1994, decided to step away from traditional private practice and created a firm that reflected the way they wanted to work: providing expert employment law advice to clients they enjoyed working with, while building a business that fitted around family life and personal values.
What began as a small idea has grown into a nationally recognised specialist employment law firm.
As proud as we are of the awards, rankings, and milestones, they only tell part of the story. The real success of Torque Law has always been the relationships we’ve built with our clients, colleagues, contacts, and supporters. Every instruction, recommendation, testimonial, event attendance, and conversation has contributed to the firm we are today.
Over the last decade, we’ve grown from a vision shared by two friends into a thriving boutique law practice. We’ve expanded our expertise, supported hundreds of employers, built an exceptional team, and achieved more than we ever thought possible back in 2016.
To everyone who’s been a apart of our journey, thank you for your support, trust, and encouragement have helped make Torque Law what it is today. It meant a lot to host so many of you at our celebrations on 10 September. We hope you found the evening as memorable as we did!
