We are joining the IDAS Big Yorkshire Tour

We are joining the IDAS Big Yorkshire Tour 2022 because we want to make sure that anyone subjected to domestic abuse or sexual violence can access support.

As Team Torqueshire we will be covering a route round Yorkshire totally some 282 miles.  Our energetic team of 7 will be undertaking our favourite pursuits.  There will be a static bike set up in the office, and we will be running/dog walking around the areas of the tour, plus paddle boarding on the beautiful Yorkshire sea and rivers.

IDAS received over 20,000 referrals, 22,000 helpline calls and supported more than 10,000 people affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence in the community last year. IDAS provides lifesaving services including refuge accommodation, outreach services and support to children and young people.

Torque Law formed a partnership with IDAS at the beginning of 2022.  We encourage our team to give back to the community in which we work in , in a way that suits their personal priorities and values.  Over the last few years we have been collaborating with local charities and our established support for individuals experiencing domestic abuse continues with IDAS to provide vital income and practical help through our team and our wider network.
